About

What Is Pacesetters?

- The focus with Pacesetters is Business Development.

– What are we doing as a group to collectively improve our businesses and gain a return?

– Beyond that, it’s making sure group members know each other’s respective businesses so that they can be true referral partners.

– We have a mentality of, “What can we do for the others in the room?” Learn the businesses of your colleagues and look for ways to help.

– There is an expectation of members that if you need the services another Partner provides; you’ll give them a legitimate chance to win your business.

– Who else do we know, and how we can connect them with our Pacesetters colleagues?

– Ultimately Pacesetters is about Direct Business, Amplification, and Savings.

1) Why Join?

Answer:  The bottom line is that you do not need Pacesetters. You will continue to be successful with or without membership to Pacesetters.  Pacesetters can simply be a part of your overall business development mix. It can also be a time saver as you get to meet with a room of decision makers at once. You should find direct opportunities within the room. Beyond that, as you meet and build relationships with our other partners; you’ll gain amplification.  You can not be in every room at once. Utilize the other companies and organizations to help share your story (and tap into the respective companies’ employees beyond their membership representation).

2) What do the meetings look like?

Answer: The standard format for the meetings are 1/2 open networking, and 1/2 small table groups. The table groups give you the opportunity to directly interact with a portion of the overall group, and hopefully help you build relationships quicker.

3) Who can we send?

Answer: Membership is a company pass. You can send who’d like on a monthly basis. Those names can change. We are just looking for consistent representation. If you want to send multiple reps, we will make sure you are at different tables for the breakouts.

4) How else can Pacesetters help?

Answer: We talked about amplification above. Another way that is accomplished is that members can send any updates each week that they want to be disseminated to the group as a whole. I’ll send out updates over the weekend, with an updated contact list showing all of the representation of the companies and organizations that are a part of Pacesetters. I then suggest that each Partner firm works their way through that contact list, and looks for opportunities to meet 1×1.

Another way you can benefit from membership in Pacesetters is evaluating your existing expenditures. What are you spending on? Is there a partner within the group that provides that service? There might be opportunities to save.
